NEW ORLEANS Even though the warm months of 2022 are over, the fun continues! Just as the weather starts to cool down a bit, this festival heats things right back up in downtown New Orleans. We challenge you to an oyster-shucking contest right here and now. More than 4,000grants were awarded to musicians, music industry workers and Black Masking/ Mardi Gras Indians. Cultural enrichment programs include the Jazz & Heritage Concert Series and the annual Foundation Festivals: the Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival, the Congo Square Rhythms Festival/Treme Creole Gumbo Festival, and the Louisiana Cajun-Zydeco Festival. A family day is planned for March 11th. A limited number of tickets are sold (first come, first served). The festival runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days.
